Overview
Private Equity is at the core of Pixiu Capital’s business. We identify attractive investment opportunities, in industries and geographies that we have expertise in, and in companies where we can add value and help transform into even better businesses. Through providing our capital and resources, our mission is to help the management teams of these companies create such high economic value that together, we redefine their respective industries.
Our professionals have a wide array of specialized industry knowledge and experience, with an average of 15 years of experience in private equity investing and corporate finance across Asia.
Our previous investments have spanned mega-cap commercial banks, leading enterprise technology companies, popular diversified media platforms, century-old traditional businesses, and more.
Our Approach
Our investment mandates encompass both control and minority investments, from the growth stage to pre-IPO, spin-offs and other special situations.
We identify potential investment opportunities through our proprietary sourcing capabilities. We conduct a stringent investment process, analyzing businesses both from a financial standpoint and also taking a solutions-oriented mindset and determining how we can leverage our firm’s resources to help the company unlock value. Through our team’s experience investing across market cycles and in different industries and regions, as well as our robust risk management processes, we have developed a willingness to invest in businesses that other investors may avoid, and employ complex structures with substantial regulatory or legal complexity.

We put ourselves in our clients’ shoes, align our incentives with their objectives, and collaborate to unlock the full potential of their business. We have found that this in turn builds deep and long-lasting relationships.
We seek to help our portfolio companies by using our global relationships to help the business enter new markets, find strategic partners and suppliers, and understand the local markets. In addition to unlocking growth opportunities, we also take deep dives into the company’s financial structure, identifying ways to trim unnecessary costs and creating more efficiency. These measures, as well as our unwavering commitment to integrity, make us a valued long-term strategic partner for the companies that we invest in.
